Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Slimocracy is a reader-supported publication. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you click one and go on to make a purchase. This page explains exactly how that works, because you deserve to know what is behind a recommendation before you act on it.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link. When you click it, the destination site records that you arrived from Slimocracy. If you later buy something, the merchant pays us a percentage of that sale.
You never pay more because of an affiliate link. The price you see is the price you would pay if you had typed the address directly into your browser. The commission comes out of the merchant’s margin, not your wallet.
Where these links appear
Affiliate links appear mainly in our product reviews and comparison articles, particularly those covering weight-loss supplements and related products. They may also appear inside guides where a specific product is discussed.
Affiliate links on this site carry the sponsored attribute, which is the standard way of declaring a commercial relationship to search engines and to automated tools.
How this affects what we publish
This is the part that matters most, so we will be blunt about it.
- A commission does not buy a good review. We publish critical assessments of products we have affiliate relationships with, including their drawbacks, weak evidence, and reasons to skip them entirely.
- We are not the manufacturer. Slimocracy does not make, sell, ship, or stock any supplement or product reviewed on this site.
- We do not accept payment for a specific verdict. No merchant is offered, or has been given, editorial control over our conclusions.
- Our default recommendation is food, habits, and patience — not a product. Where a supplement genuinely has little evidence behind it, we say so.
You should still read our reviews with the awareness that a financial relationship exists. That is precisely why this page is here.
This is not medical advice
Nothing on Slimocracy, including any content containing affiliate links, is medical advice. Weight-loss supplements can interact with medication and are not appropriate for everyone. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement, diet, or exercise programme — particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a health condition, or taking prescribed medication.
See our Medical Disclaimer for the full statement.
Your choice
You are never obliged to use our links. If you would rather not have your visit attributed to Slimocracy, simply search for the product directly. It changes nothing about the price you pay or the content you can read here.
